The shopping centre also has an elegant tea room with the longest list of teas that we have ever seen in our life. Pat had a black tea and John a blue tea.
Orchard Road is not only massive shops, there are gardens as well, both green and water. Below is Istana Park just by the entrance to the PM's residence.
We found an old, well preserved part of Orchard, Emerald Hill Drive which is clearly the territory of the rich.
Finally, we went down to the City area before we headed for the airport. You can see the colourful stands from the F1 Grand Prix which happened just before we arrived and the Singapore Flyer big wheel in the picture below.
The domed building in the photo below is City Hall, reminiscent of Belfast's City Hall.
We left Singapore at about 11pm and arrived at 6am in Darwin, about which, later.
