This is the last entry in this blog, although it won't be our last blog! We have found that keeping a diary of such a long holiday has been very useful to help us remember what we saw. With 6000 photos to sort through, it will help with the pruning and recording too.

We spend 6 nights in London, seeing James, Helen and Nick, including a super meal at Otelungui's restaurant. All three are very busy with work and Helen was also organising the costumes for Potted Panto which starts on December 4th. We recovered well from the flight and were able to help out with cooking and John has mended Helen's bike.

We also took the chance to write and post Christmas cards and start our Christmas shopping. This was Oxford street.

We left London on December 1st from St Pancras where we saw this lego Christmas tree

and arrived in Beziers on the TGV with only a short delay. Our local restaurant was still open and so we enjoyed a meal there.

There had been lots of rain in France while we were away so the flowers on the terrace were very happy and our pelargonia are still flowering. Today we have a lovely sunny day and a temperature of 16 degrees so were abe to eat our lunch on the terrace.

The washing machine has been busy since we arrived back and our wardrobes have moved from summer to winter without touching autumn.

We have enjoyed a fantastic 10 weeks away and now look forward to Christmas in France, after which, we will have to start thinking about the next trip.....
