and Ziggy is a 7 month old Samoid cross, possibly with a sheep dog.
While Ann was busy, we took the two dogs for a walk. Competition is fierce for who is the front runner.
Ann took us out to Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve where we intended to have a barbecue and then go for some walks. We headed for a barbecue area and set up camp. By now, the temperature had dropped to 18 degrees.
The duty kangaroos were waiting
We had just sat down to eat when the rain started. Fortunately we were undercover,so we were able to continue eating. Whether it was because of the rain or not, we were soon surrounded by kangaroos.
After we had eaten and the rain had paused, we set off to for a walk. No sooner had we started than the rain started again with a vengeance and we returned to Ann's car. This happened several times and eventually we gave up.
It looked as though the walks would have been lovely, but this was the best photo we had of the scenery
On the way back we got our first photo of an emu in the wild
In the evening we ate at Tilly's, a local bar/restaurant before a final dog walk and home.
